St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Chatham, Ill., was the setting for the May 13 nuptial Mass uniting Miss Heidi Bolt and Casey Spears in marriage.
The bride is a daughter of Theresa and the late Kevin Bolt of Quincy. The bridegroom is a son of Dave and Barb Spears of Nokomis, Ill.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother during the 1 p.m. ceremony conducted by the Rev. John Nolan. Readers were Jessica Bishop and Andrea Forck, sisters of the bridegroom.
Maid of honor was Abby Bolt of Quincy and matron of honor was Megan Cramsey of O'Fallon, Mo., sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Megan Ramirez of Rushville, Ill., Elizabeth Tooley of Chicago, Whitney Luebbers of Carlyle, Ill., and the late Allison Holbrook of Quincy.
Best man was Jason Spears of St. Louis, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Brian Morrell of Palantine, Ill., Taylor Rakers of Quincy, Drew Weckbach of St. Louis, Jared Spears of Nokomis and Jaime Stash of Springfield, Ill.
Ushers were Nick Forck of Peoria, Ill., Justin Bishop of Springfield and Brian Cramsey of O'Fallon.
Ring bearers were Beckett Bishop and Connor Cramsey, nephews of the bride and bridegroom.
A rehearsal dinner was held May 11 at Fulgenzi's Trattoria in Chatham. A dinner reception began at 5:30 p.m. at the Rail Golf Course in Springfield.
After honeymooning in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the newlyweds are at home in Springfield.
The bride is a graduate of Quincy Notre Dame High School, a 2010 graduate of the University of Illinois at Springfield, and a 2012 graduate of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with a master's degree in social work. She is a school social worker for the Springfield 186 School District in Springfield.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Nokomis High School in Nokomis and a 2009 graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in education/history. He is a high school history teacher for the Northwestern School District in Palmyra, Ill.
