Miss Brandee Achilles and Chad Howser were married at 2 p.m. May 20 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
The bride, of 2621 N. 12th, is a daughter of Ed and Linda Holthaus and Steve and Stacy Achilles of Quincy. The bridegroom, of 2917 Genevieve Drive, is a son of Ron and Vicki Howser of Quincy.
The Rev. Mike Kuse conducted the ceremony, assisted by Deacon Terry Ellerman; the bride was given in marriage by her parents. Readers were Dave Wiemelt and Lance Wiemelt.
Matron of honor was Laurie Craft of Charlotte, Mich. Maid of honor was Carol Shaffer of Loraine, Ill., cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amber Hendrian and Mindy Richards, both of Quincy and sisters of the bride.
Best man was Corey Loos of Quincy. Groomsmen were Kevin Howser and Travis Howser, both of St. Louis and brothers of the bridegroom; Greg Achilles of Quincy, brother of the bride; Tim Tuter of Fowler, Ill.; and Jeff Battles of Quincy.
Flower girl was Audrina Tuter of Fowler, and ring bearer was Jaxson Tuter of Loraine, cousin of the bride.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom's parents at BoodaLu Steakhouse. A reception began at 6:30 p.m. at the Oakley-Lindsay Center.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Jamaica and are at home in Wilmington, N.C.
The bride attended St. Mary Grade School, Quincy Notre Dame High School and Culver-Stockton College. She is employed in occupational therapy.
The bridegroom attended Quincy Public Schools and Quincy University. He is employed in sales and marketing at Pharmgate Animal Health.
