QUINCY -- A search warrant led to the arrest of two Quincy residents Thursday on drug and weapons charges.
Officers with the Quincy Police Department and the West Central Illinois Task Force executed a search warrant at 700 Ashley Ave. in Quincy at 3:34 p.m. During a search of the residence, officers located numerous items of drug paraphernalia used to ingest methamphetamine and cannabis along with a "sawed-off" shotgun.
Chad Neisen, 27, of 700 Ashley, is in the Adams County Jail on charges of possession of a firearm with barrel shorter than 18 inches and possession of methamphetamine. Ashley Kramer, 30, of 1524 Maple, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and also is in the Adams County Jail.
Both will be in Adams County Court on July 27.
