Man faces charges after disturbance in Liberty

LIBERTY, Ill. -- A Liberty man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a disturbance in Liberty.

John A. Martineau, 52, of 1975 Highway 104, was arrested at 5:46 p.m. and charged with home invasion, aggravated battery and driving while license revoked.

Deputies with the Adams County Sheriff's Department responded to a disturbance at approximately 4:29 p.m. at an address in Liberty. After investigation at the scene, Martineau was taken into custody and held in the Adams County Jail with no bond, pending his first court appearance.
