DAVENPORT, Iowa -- The Quincy High School girls soccer team held the No. 1 team in Iowa scoreless for nearly the entire game, but Davenport Assumption finally broke through.

Livy Lansing scored in the 76th minute to hand QHS a 1-0 loss Saturday afternoon.

Quincy (5-4-3) had a pair of chances in the first half, both involving senior forward Schay Mulherin. Early on, Mulherin had a shot bounce off the post. Later in the half, Mulherin played a through ball to Sierra Woodard. Woodard sent a ball into Hayley Millhauser, and her shot went just wide of the goal.
