QHS takes third out of 16 at Triad Invitational

TROY, Ill. -- Grayson Arns, Andrew Vonderheide, Ben Oakley, Zach Willing and Blake Hayden all won three matches in doubles play for the Quincy High School tennis team, which finished third out of 16 teams at the Triad Invitational Saturday. The Blue Devils beat Alton Marquette, Jerseyville, and Morton. Their only loss came to Mt. Zion. Hayden and Joshua Daly both won one singles match each. The Blue Devils won 11 out of 12 doubles matches.
