C-SC upsets No. 8 Missouri Valley

CANTON, Mo. -- The Culver-Stockton College men's volleyball team upset No. 8 Missouri Valley with a 25-22, 16-25, 25-21, 25-21 Heart of America Athletic Conference victory on Wednesday evening at Charles Field House.

The Wildcats (6-14, 4-5 Heart) limited the Vikings (13-9, 5-2) to just a .067 hitting percentage in the first set. Missouri Valley, however, seemed to find its form in the second by hitting .500 to tie the match.

C-SC, however, totaled 15 kills in third set and hit .320 in the fourth to finish off the upset.

Jordan Stellflue and Evan Winter finished with eight kills apiece for C-SC. Ammuniki Wood, Shqauille Barker and John Echel added six kills apiece.

Dylan Berry led C-SC with 20 assists.
