Hamilton UMC to host community Lenten service

HAMILTON, Ill. Hamilton United Methodist Church will host the first Community Lenten Service at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 5.

The speaker will be the Rev. Brett Lazlo and the hand bell choir will perform. A meal will follow the service.

Other Lenten services, locations and speakers are as follows: March 12 at Golden's Point Christian Church, 905 ECR 1800 with Richard Leonard; March 19 at Elvaston Community Church, 109 E. Ohio St., Elvaston, with the Rev. Nick Gleason; March 26 at First Christian Church, 10th and Walnut, Hamilton, with Larry Menschel; April 2 at Faith Assembly of God, 1645 Keokuk St, Hamilton, with Pastor Bob Wagner; and April 9 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 1421 Broadway, Hamilton, with Doug Campbell.
